This guitar is featured on the 'Great Acoustics' page that I wrote (photos by Shanti Curran) for the November 2012 issue of Acoustic Guitar Magazine Jean Pierre's current prices for a new build of this model is 4,900 Euro or roughly 6,000 USD. The top is made of Old European Spruce with bear-claw figure. The back and sides are cypress like a flamenco guitar. The fretboard is beautiful black poreless ebony…the kind that is extremely hard to find these days. Incredibly light and responsive with a beautiful voice.

The person who has contributed the most to the evolution of Robbie Basho's musical legacy is German guitarist/composer Steffen Basho-Junghans.  Steffen has also helped preserve Robbie Basho's musical legacy through his creation of the Robbie Basho Archives. The Basho Archives are a wonderful resource for all things Basho.  For guitar enthusiasts, Steffen has shared photos of Basho's long lost Mexican made 12 string on the Archives Shrine page.
